Hosaka Corporation
Hosaka Corporation (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ryoichi Tanabe) will begin accepting orders on November 2, 2026 for the VP-1500 series of panel computers for factory automation, with shipments from January 2027.
The series comprises the VP-1512 (12.1-inch), VP-1516 (15.6-inch) and VP-1522 (21.5-inch). Their projected-capacitive touch screens are tuned so that operators can use them in nitrile, cotton and leather work gloves and with water on the glass, which has been the most frequent request from users of our previous VP-1300 series. The front panel is rated IP66 and the stainless-steel bezel option (suffix -S) is designed for washdown in food and pharmaceutical plants.
All three models use a low-power processor with a fanless design and support a supply period of seven years from launch. A DC 24 V power input allows the computers to be powered from the control panel.
Hosaka will continue to supply the VP-1300 series until March 2028.
