Environment

Our target is to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% from fiscal 2019 levels by fiscal 2027, and to reach net zero by fiscal 2045. Most of our emissions come from electricity at Ina Works and Koriyama Works, where we are adding solar generation and buying renewable electricity, and from the 72-hour burn-in of integrated systems, whose heat we now recover for the Koriyama offices.
