Hosaka Corporation
Hosaka Corporation has released the HS-2200 series of 2U industrial server chassis, succeeding the HS-2100 series launched in 2015.
The series comprises the HS-2208 (eight 3.5-inch bays), HS-2212 (twelve 3.5-inch bays) and HS-2224 (twenty-four 2.5-inch bays). Each model is built in a steel chassis designed for continuous operation at up to 40°C, with front-replaceable fans, redundant power supplies and a lockable bezel, and is managed through the new H-BMC management controller, which supports standard remote management protocols.
Unlike general-purpose servers, whose models change every year or two, the HS-2200 series is supplied for seven years from the launch of each model, so that equipment makers and operators can qualify a system once and keep building it.
